Miss North West 2023 Gives Hope, Empowers School Children, IDPs

The Mayor of Bamenda III council has called on the population of his municipality to respect their culture and embrace peace for the return of normalcy in the area. Mayor Fongu Cletus was speaking recently during the finals of the "Bamenda III Inclusive-Royal tournament" in Mile 4 Nkwen in the presence of the Divisional Officer of Bamenda III, Austin Ayuni and the Fon of Nkwen. "Despite the security challenges, we want to thank the population for collaborating with us throughout the tournament. We think that through sporting activities we can preach peace, unite the entire municipality, despite the security challenges. Ngoketunjia Peace Conference: NGOYSCA Put Smiles On Faces Of Pupils, Students

It is promising to be a fruitful academic year, as about four hundred pupils and students from Ngoketunjia division in the North West region have received scholarship awards to continue their education this new academic year. This was the most appreciated move at the "All Ngoketunjia Youth Scholarship and Peace Conference" held on September 3, 2022 in Yaounde. The beneficiaries carefully selected from the primary, secondary and university levels from all the 13 villages of Ngoketunjia received cash prizes and school materials from the Ngoketunjia Youth and Students Cultural Association, NGOYSCA.
