Vision Sports FC Bamenda Braces For New Season

Lone women elite-one football club in the North West region, Vision Sports FC is doing final touches, as the 2021/2022 football season gears up.

The team, which has been training for a long time has set its priorities and target for the new football season.

During a press conference on Thursday April 14, 2022, Jefther Pase, team president of Vision Sports FC revealed that their aim is to end between first three this season.

In an interview granted to Promo Info during one of their trainings, Nkembo Atefor, assistant coach of the club added that their target is to end the season among best three.

"Last two seasons we were trying to be verse with the first division, but this time around we want to come out in the first three, if possible the first," Nkembo Atefor said

The trainer revealed that the players are done with physical preparations and now working on their tactical play.

Nkembo Atefor added his girls are already in form because they have been training day and night ahead of the season.

He is also confident with the new recruits of the club as 15 new players joined, after some decided to leave for clubs like Likie, Awa FC and Canon for other opportunities.

Amongst the new signings into Vision Sports are; Lum Louiser, Tatah Bisherine, Chebe Sidonie, Arrey Mireille and others.

Nkembo Atefor also revealed that the ongoing Anglophone crisis has affected the team in many ways.

"Concerning the last season, we had a lot of problems with players because do to the crisis, many of our players never wanted to come to Bamenda," Nkembo said, adding that their focus this year is only on home based players.

The trainer also expressed satisfaction concerning the intervention of FECAFOOT in the competition, as players will recieve a minimum salary of 100,000frs monthly.

The 2021/2022 Guinness Super League is set to start on April 16, 2022 between Awa FC and Louves MINPROFF at the Ngoa-Ekelle stadium in Yaounde.

The Bamenda girls will face Eclair on April 18, 2022 in their first game.
