CAF President Order For Investigations, Move Matches Out Of Olembe Stadium

  Promo Info. CAF president, Patrice Motsepe The president of the Confederation of African Football, CAF has moved all matches that were supposed to take place at the Olembe stadium over the weekend. Dr Patrice Motsepe was speaking Tuesday 25 January during a press conference in Yaounde, after a stampede occurred at the stadium. "There's zero tolerance on circumstances that could result to people being injured or losing their lives, we have to take emergency now," Patrice Motsepe said, adding that he has called the Local Organizing Committee meeting tomorrow According to the CAF boss, all matches that were programmed at the Stadium will instead hold at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium, over the weekend. Francis Ngannou has retained his belt, after defeating his France opponent, Ciryle Gane  in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC. It was another victory last night, January 22 for Cameroonians to celebrate, after Ngannou defended his title at the # UFC270 in USA. F or seven days, the people of Mbei village in Santa subdivision in the North West region have been looking for their Fon, who went missing on January 3, 2022. And the new Fon has been found, who will continue ruling the people of Mbei. Fon Mokom Njei II was presented to the people of Mbei village and the entire world on January 12, 2022, after he successfully undergone through all the traditional rituals. Born in 1971, the 50 year old traditional ruler is taking over from his father, the previous Fon who died on January 3, after serving his people for more than 50 years. The Indomitable Lions have proved right of hosting the tournament, after winning their first and second matches at the Olembe stadium in Yaounde. A brace from Aboubakar Vincent and Karl Toko Ekambi have pushed the Indomitable Lions to the next stage, though they still have one more match on Monday 17. The Antelopes of Ethiopia opened the score at the 4th minute, with a beautiful goal from Dawa Hutessa. The incident occurred on Wednesday January 5, at about 6pm at Ghana street, Nkwen in Bamenda. FECAFOOT Increases Elite-one Club Subvention To 20 Million

The new football season will see Elite-one clubs with a subvention of 20 million FCFA, while Elite-two clubs will have 10 million FCFA. This information was revealed Tuesday January 4 in Yaounde, after a FECAFOOT organizing meeting for the up coming football season. Therefore, an additional increased of 10 million FCFA and 5 million FCFA respectively have been added to the subventions of clubs by the football association, as compared to last year. While the Cameroon cup winners is expected to win 50 millions, though no date has been announced for the finals. According to Kick442, the association also admitted to assist clubs with equipments.
