CAF At War With MTN Cameroon!

Logos of both organizations/company The Confederation of African Football, CAF has asked MTN Cameroon to immediately stop all advertising and marketings linked on the up coming Nation's cup. According to a press release from the African football governing body, MTN Cameroon is not authorized to do so. The press release further explains that MTN Cameroon is violating the intellectual property rights of the organization. MTN Cameroon is requested to; "Remove any advertising spot, poster or publication directly or indirectly referring to the competition. Immediately cancel any activity or promotion directly or indirectly referring to CAF competitions  Immediately cease any additional action that may use the name, image, logo or any other marks, directly or indirectly linked to the competition or CAF and for which use CAF has not provided prior written approval" a section of the press release states. Bamenda: Two Shot Dead, One Seriously Injured

  Four year old girl, one among the victims shot in Bamenda  At least two people have been killed in Bamenda, chief town of the North West region. The two, involves a four year old girl and another sixteen year who were caught by bullets in Ngomgham in Bamenda today December 22. According to information gathered from inhabitants of the quarter, these occurred after government soldiers engaged separatist fighters in a gun battle and the kids were shot. Our informant added that the four year old was shot on her stomach. The little girl was confirmed death at a hospital where her elder sister, seventeen is presently receiving treatment. Reports have it that another girl of sixteen was shot on her head and she died instantly on the spot. Bamenda: Woman Now Lives In Kitchen, After Fire Ravaged Her House

Many inhabitants of Mbengwi road, a residential area in Mezam division, Bamenda in the North West region have been rendered homeless. This is after their homes and business places were reportedly set ablazed on Wednesday December 8, by men in military uniform. Over forty houses, including business places, cars and other properties were lost in the incident. Bambili: Association Raise 77 Million For Water Project

Paul Achobong, City Mayor to the Bamenda city council was speaking to the population and vendors Wednesday December 1 morning on the eve of the fire incident which consumed more than twenty five shops at the Nkwen market in Bamenda.
