JATO Sonita Spices Press Freedom Day In Bamenda

JATO Sonita with the Forest Kids spiced the day with beautiful performance and Afro Njang songs at the Ayaba hotel. The kids kept journalists on their fits from start to finish of the event with pure traditional music. The talented fast rising Afro artist used her charming voice and crafted beautiful and meaningful songs to the journalists who convened to celebrate and enjoy their works. Bamenda: Woman Now Lives In Kitchen, After Fire Ravaged Her House

 By Mboh Promise Madam Tumasang, stranded with her grandson, after her entire compound was burnt. Many inhabitants of Mbengwi road, a residential area in Mezam division, Bamenda in the North West region have been rendered homeless. This is after their homes and business places were reportedly set ablazed on Wednesday December 8, by men in military uniform. Over forty houses, including business places, cars and other properties were lost in the incident. Burnt vehicles after Wednesday's fire Madam Tumasang, a victim of the fire incident lost all her property plus her entire compound in Wednesday's incident, which has been condemned by many as 'barbaric' According to the woman who has retired to her kitchen as a new home, the men in military uniform who carried out the barbaric act on her building are allege government forces.
