NW Regional League: Fai Collins Donate Balls To Clubs

Indomitable Lion's right back, Fai Collins Ngoran has donated 300 balls to regional league clubs, divisional league clubs and women teams in the North West region.

Twenty two teams taking part in the 2022 North West Regional League recieved six balls each on April 16, 2022 at Ps Ntaafi through the North West FECAFOOT bureau.

This was during the launching ceremony of the North West Regional League, where club presidents recieved on behalf of their clubs.

It was also revealed that divisional clubs, women clubs and other youth football teams in the region will recieve theirs in the days ahead.

The North West Regional League started with Options Sports Academy defeat Rainbow FC by one nil. The lone goal came in from Song Javis.

29 year old Fai Collins is a native of the North West region who plays for the Cameroon national team and Saudi Arabian club, Al-Tai Fc.

Fai started his youth football carrier at North West Regional League club, Bamenda FC before moving to higher heights.

Mount Cameroon Race: Lady Dies From Explosion Wounds

At least one victim of the Buea explosions, which occurred during the 2023 edition of the Mount Cameroon race of hope is dead. Family sources in Buea have confirmed that Linda Nji died at the Buea regional hospital early Tuesday February 28, 2023. The victim was injured together with her three children in one amongst the three explosions that occurred few minutes into the race on Saturday. "They stood outside watching the race at Bunduma where an explosive went off and injured all of them," a source said. They were later on rushed to the Buea regional hospital, where they have been receiving treatment until Tuesday morning at about 4am when the later died. Report say she died in the presence of her husband and her remains were conveyed to the hospital mortuary, pending burial.
