Mbouda: Mechanic Wins Motorbike From MTN Raffle Draw

On Wednesday March 16, 2022, Djoufack Michael Tako emerged winner of MTN tombola in Mbouda, West region during the official launching and kickoff of the 2021/2022 elite championship in Cameroon. The Mechanic won a Tropical Turbo motorbike from MTN Cameroon through a match ticket that he bought as pass into the MTN Arena stadium where PWD Bamenda was defeat 1-0 by Bamboutos FC Mbouda. Bamboutos Defeats PWD To Secure First League Win

By Mboh Promise Players of PWD Bamenda at MTN Arena stadium Mbouda. Bamboutos FC of Mbouda are the first to grab three points in the 2021/2022 Cameroon elite football season. The boys of Coach Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso popularly known as the Mangwa Boys defeated the 2021 Cameroon Champions, PWD of Bamenda by a one null goal on Sunday March 16 at the MTN Arena stadium in Mbouda. The lone goal of the match was scored by Serge Rodrigue Mani at the 73 minutes to secure a lead for his club. Bamboutos FC of Mbouda is therefore toping pole B with three points in the Elite One championship. The match which took place in the presence of FECAFOOT president, Samuel Eto'o and Indomitable Lion's Coach, Rigobert Song also saw the award of trophies and prizes. During the 2021 Cameroon Cup Final match at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium on Sunday March 13, many fans of the Bamenda based football club displayed with banners to show their dissatisfaction and need for a befitting stadium. Pictured with banners bearing different messages like "we need a stadium in Bamenda," "we know how to play football, but we don't have a stadium in Bamenda" Some among the thousands of fans who travelled from Bamenda were pictured at different angles of the stadium with different messages to let officials know that they have gone a long way without one.
